Ginger Root is Your Flu Shot

Winter is just around the corner, are you attempting to get a flu shot like everyone else? Even though it is free with insurance, THINK TWICE!

Fresh ginger root is probably the most common spice we use daily. Well, some of you may not be aware of its powerful healing properties. Ginger can strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, lower blood sugar, lower cholesterol, including LDL and triglycerides. Ginger can relief pains and fight both bacterial and fungal infections. It also can reduce wrinkles and help with acne-prone skin. Ginger is the best known for stomach issues such as indigestion, stomach ulcer, nausea and vomiting, and it can have immediate effects. So go get some fresh ginger root, make tea, drink it throughout the winter. The way to make the tea is simple. Cut a few slices and let it boil for 15-20 minutes; you can drink it with an empty stomach or any time throughout the day. But don’t drink it after dinner, because it might keep you awake at bedtime. You also can add other goodies to the tea, such as red dates, lemon, turmeric, etc. One of my clients is spreading the ginger and date tea that I suggested to her to all her family and friends, because she experienced such a relief of her pain and inflammation. For a week she ran out, all the pains came back. She told me that she would make sure that she never run out again.

Nature has all we need for health and healing.
