After serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Chinese language and culture, I discovered an even deeper passion for helping others grow and thrive. I chose to dedicate myself full-time to promoting healthier, more fulfilling lives through a holistic wellness and nutrition, food cure rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

Holistic Health Consultation

My holistic health consultations focus on building sustainable, healthy lifestyles and supporting the body’s natural healing abilities. I continue to advance my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) under a renowned doctor in China, specializing in food therapy and food-grade herbal remedies. This knowledge has been deeply empowering, and my mission is to share it with everyone I guide. Food is the best medicine, and your kitchen is your most powerful pharmacy.

After enduring prolonged mold and serious chemical exposures, I turned my health challenges into a journey of resilience and transformation. Today, I feel stronger, healthier, and more grounded than ever. My experience has deepened my belief that nurturing balance in our bodies and minds is key to healing and lasting well-being.

Tai Chi and Qigong

I began studying Tai Chi and Qigong during my college years in China, and they have remained a foundation of my life ever since. With decades of practice and over 13 years of teaching experience in the U.S., I have trained students who now teach under my certification. My unique approach combines Tai Chi and Qigong with practical self-care knowledge from Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic health, empowering students not only to master the movements but also to deepen their understanding of health, vitality, and longevity.

Holistic & Me

Born and raised in China, I grew up immersed in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). My mother, a dedicated TCM practitioner, cared for our family with healing foods, guasha, meridian therapies, and food-grade herbal remedies. Wellness was simply our way of life.

After becoming a mother, my experiences with conventional pediatric care inspired me to reconnect with my roots and deepen my knowledge of TCM, holistic wellness, and nutrition. I began integrating these principles into our family's daily life, embracing natural self-care, the body's innate healing capacity, and preventive wellness.

Today I am passionate about helping others restore balance, strengthen resilience, and achieve lasting vitality through holistic nutrition, mindful movement, and natural wellness practices.

A Personal Healing Journey

While raising two healthy children, I neglected my own well-being. Years of putting others first took a toll culminating in a frightening emergency room visit for angina linked to chronic stress.

That wake-up call inspired a life-changing transformation. Through consistent exercise, Tai Chi and Qigong practice, daily meditation, and Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapy, I restored my health, lost 26 pounds, and regained my strength and confidence.

Later, my experiences with mold and chemical exposures further deepened my commitment to holistic wellness and natural self-care. These challenges strengthened my belief in the body's ability to restore balance when given the right support.

Today, I am passionate about helping adults over 50 reclaim their health, vitality, and long-term well-being through a holistic natural approach.
