This program is designed for individuals who wish to become certified Tai Chi instructors upon completion of Level I
Course Components:
- Introduction to Taoism and the History of Tai Chi
Explore the philosophical foundations of Taoism and the historical development of Tai Chi as both a martial art and a health practice. - Chinese Martial Arts and Cultural Context
Gain insight into the rich cultural heritage and traditions that shape Chinese martial arts, with a focus on Tai Chi. - Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Learn the basic principles of TCM, including Yin-Yang theory, the Five Elements, meridians, and the role of Qi in health and healing. - Teaching Methods and Instructional Materials
Develop effective strategies for teaching Tai Chi, including curriculum design, communication techniques, and the use of educational resources. - Tai Chi II
Intermediate-level practice focused on refining movements, strengthening stamina and boost immunity. - Tai Chi III
Advanced-level instruction emphasizing form precision and complexity, energy flow, depening relaxation and enhancing life nurturing - Final Examination
- Research Paper: An in-depth exploration of a relevant topic in Tai Chi, TCM, or Taoist philosophy.
- Tai Chi Demonstration: A live or recorded performance showcasing the student’s mastery of form.
- Teaching Demonstration: A practical evaluation of the student’s ability to instruct and guide others in Tai Chi practice.
This program is designed for individuals who wish to become certified Qigong instructors upon successful completion of Level I
Program Components:
- Qigong History and Studies
Explore the origins, evolution, and various schools of Qigong, along with its role in health, martial arts, and spiritual development. - Introduction to Meditation
Learn foundational meditation techniques that enhance focus, inner awareness, and energy flow—an essential complement to Qigong practice. - Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Understand core concepts such as Qi, Yin-Yang theory, the Five Elements, and meridian systems that form the theoretical basis of Qigong. - Qigong II
Intermediate-level practice focusing on refining breathing techniques, posture, and movement to deepen the cultivation of Qi. - Qigong III
Advanced training that emphasizes internal energy regulation, form precision, and integration of mind, breath, and body. - Final Examination
- Research Paper: A written exploration of a chosen topic related to Qigong, TCM, or energy cultivation.
- Qigong Demonstration: Live or recorded video displays of mastery in selected Qigong forms and techniques.
- Teaching Demonstration: An assessment of instructional skills and the ability to guide others in Qigong practice
Certification & Material Use PolicyUpon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and be granted access to Vicki’s copyrighted instructional materials. Please note: use of these materials without proper certification and authorization is strictly prohibited.
